FIRM PROFILE

Established in 2008, TSSS is a comprehensive consulting firm specializing in strategic support to ensure safe and secure projects, systems and operating environments for public transit, construction and homeland security programs. Leveraging decades of safety, security, cyber security, quality assurance, and project management experience, TSSS experts identify project risks and develop tailored solutions to diminish those risks to a practical level.

TSSS has a variety of experts and technical staff certified through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, World Safety Organization (WSO) and Transportation Safety Institute (TSI). TSSS is also a certified First Aid, CPR & AED Trainer through the National Safety Council, as well as a member of the American Public Transportation Association (APTA) and the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE).

Mr. Aurel has more than 20 years of diverse engineering and safety management experience, including hazard analysis and safety and security certification implementation. He has provided design review and project management experience on several heavy, light and commuter rail projects. He has also performed project management and analyses on bus and ferry projects. Mr. Aurel’s experience includes many design-build mass transit projects as well as numerous internal safety audits of bus and rail systems.

Mrs. Deen is an IT professional with more than 14 years of experience in IT infrastructure and cyber security. She has technical expertise in infrastructure: computer servers, network technologies, data management, and facilities that influence dependable and scalable systems. Mrs. Deen has mastered technologies from operating systems to security; assessed system susceptibility and suggested security enhancements; and instigated top-tier security processes and incident response policies to guard against burgeoning cyber risks.

Mr. Dragu brings more than 25 years of multidisciplinary experience in rail and bus transit safety and security, electrical engineering, fire protection, design review, safety certification management, implementation of system integration and commissioning plans and programs for rail projects, and proficiency in developing procedures for commencing safe rail operations. As a creative engineer, he boasts years of successful safety management initiatives in the transit industry.
